Chemistry and Biotechnology
Well-equipped chemical and microbiological laboratories allow the experts of CLEWATEC to investigate possible solutions to challenges related to wastewater bioprocessing and resource recovery. Our experience includes areas such as biological agents, biophotoreactors, biosensors, bioflotation, biosorbtion and bioleaching. Taking advantage of this expertise, and in close collaboration with the HZDR Biotechnology Group, we aim to conduct studies into advanced wastewater cleaning techniques that are capable of recovering valuable elements from sewage in a way that allows for their recirculation.
